Hey there — I'm Hung Nguyen. I'm a software engineer, financial strategist, and technologist based in San Diego.

I recently created HL Financial Strategies to share my journey through FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early), while also building tools like the Wheel Strategy Tracker to help others take control of their income.

Career wise, I have 15+ years of experience in software development and 5+ years leading engineering teams in various industries. From biotech, IT cloud platforms, and big tech, I'm now channeling my skills toward building systems that support financial freedom — all while still actively navigating the tech industry and growing professionally.

Outside of coding and trading, you'll find me exploring San Diego eats on @hlforkandfinds or hanging out with my rescue pup Juni 🐾.
